Recent video from the town of Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico shows a squadron of Mexican Marines storming a Narco Rancho allegedly used as a base by Los Zetas sicarios from Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon. During the shootout three Zeta sicarios were killed – two on the ground, one inside a vehicle. Several sicarios managed to flee but were searched for with the use of military helicopter (not sure about the outcome).

The marines also arrested two females – can be seen in the video at 5:09. It has not been clarified whether they were found to be prostitutes, employed to cook/clean, of if they were sicarias or kidnapped victims.

The shootout took place at dusk when it was dark outside so quality of the video is really poor. But it does look like the Zetas have been getting quite a bit of a beating both from rival drug cartels and from Mexican military lately:

Marcos Arturo Beltrán Leyva, Mexican drug lord known as El Jefe De Jefes (The Boss of Bosses) was killed in a gunfight with the marines on December 16, 2009 in the city of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. The marines had been onto him for a week following his narrow escape after a shootout at a Christmas party in Ahuatepec and eventually closed in on him in a poshy residential complex of Bellavista.

In spite of the latest video featuring Mexican Marines whereas the force appeared rather incompetent, the Marines are nevertheless regarded as incorruptible elite fighters. After their successful mission eliminating Arturo Beltrán Leyva, they may have however crossed the line of decency.

There are several very wrong things with the photo of Arturo Beltran Leyva’s dead body as seen above. The most obvious being that he’s covered with blood soaked bills. To mock the corpse post mortem by taking his personal possessions and arranging them on the body for pure mockery is something a force that regards itself as “elite” should not resort to.

Furthermore – Arturo Beltrán Leyva sustained mortal gunshot wounds during the shootout. Pulling his pants down and his shirt up was likewise clearly done for the sole purpose of disgracing the dead. Doing this to a surviving criminal in order to ensure he doesn’t have any weapons on him is one thing. Mocking a corpse that can’t defend itself is another. And while I do appreciate that drug cartels routinely resort to this type of scare tactics and humiliation, it should not be on the list of traits common among special forces.

If both the drug cartels and the military share the same appalling mentality, then who really is the bad guy? Plus – drug cartels are already ruthless to begin with. Provoking them by humiliating corpses of their leaders would only call for “yet more shocking” retaliation.

This video is a continuation of the video posted earlier whereby Mexican marines engaged Los Zetas from a Narco Rancho in the town of Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon where 3 sicarios had been shot to death.

There appear to be two captured girls who look to be alive and well, and one that was wounded with a gunshot to the back in the video. There’s a big hole in the wounded girl’s back which I assume is an exit wound. The entrance wound I think is the hole on the other side of her back so she wasn’t shot through the chest, but rather across her back. Her spine may have been hit which could be why she’s able to turn her head, but other movement is restricted.

Apparently the girl is only 15 year old and had been recruited as a sicaria – a female gunmen by the Zetas. The other two girls look very young too, probably like the wounded girl only in their early to mid teens. I do not know if the wounded sicaria made it.

I don’t know much about this video but it’s only a few weeks old. A group of gunmen affiliated with the Knights Templar Drug Cartel (los Caballeros Templarios) was exterminated and their truck blown up. I assume it was the Mexican army that killed them, although I don’t know that for sure.

The truck appears to be complete destroyed, as if it took a blast from an RPG or something even more powerful. A little bit of fire was still burning on the truck and on the dead person near it. The killed man must have had live ammo on him cause small explosion occurred a few times during the course of the video in his immediate vicinity. There appears to be at least one other dead men a few meters away from the truck.

It’s Mundo Narco with their watermark overload again. But other than that, the video is pretty significant because one of the executed women is the infamous Crazy Blonde, aka La Guera Loca who became notorious for beheading a captured Zeta and peeling off his face with box cutter. Zetas got their retribution, it would seem.

Los Zetas captured four women who confessed (for whatever it’s worth) to working for El Cartel del Golfo (The Gulf Cartel), the primary rival of Los Zetas. The execution takes place in an open field. The women kneel in the dirt as a group of masked, heavily armed gunmen stand in threatening poses behind them. Three of four women have their breasts exposed. One of them appears to be an aged and a little heavier woman so she got to keep her top on. La Guera Loca, also known as Comandante Guera is the woman with the nicest breasts, wearing a pink top – on the far right.

After your typical Narco interrogation, in which the women stated their names, who they were affiliated with and what their job was, the Zetas proceeded with decapitation and dismemberment. Obviously, because after years of showing the world how utterly useless Mexicans are when it comes to beheadings with a knife, out of complete embarrassment they no longer use knives and instead stick with axes and huge machetes. So beheadings are more about chopping the heads off, rather than cutting them off as it used to be.

During the interrogation, the women admitted to being affiliated in some capacity with José Guadalupe López aka “El Ostión” (The Oyster). Young girl on the left said she was his niece. Woman second from the right was a halcona (a hawk, aka a lookout). Comandante Guera said her name was Yesenia Pacheco Rodríguez and said she was with “Commander Gallo”, a member of CDG in Altamira.

The old woman got the fastest treatment and was beheaded quickly with the axe. The one furthest left had her throat sliced and left to suffer for a bit, but was then also swiftly finished with the axe. La Guera Loca was left to suffer the longest. She had her throat cut with that huge machete and left alone while the sicarios were dealing with other women but still – thanks to the use of axes and machetes, each of the women was finished off rather quickly compared to what it used to be. The Zetas then proceeded with the traditional Narco dismemberment.

Although at first I thought that El Cartel Del Golfo (CDG) beheaded this girl as a response to the decapitation of four of their women by Los Zetas, later I found out that the beheading was done as a response to the murder of Comandante Gallo – one of top CDG commanders who was also reportedly decapitated by Los Zetas.

The girl in this video looks to be very young and is very scared – anyone would be in her situation. For her the life has barely begun and she knew it would soon end in a horrific way.

The video also proves my theory that Mexican henchmen finally admitted to themselves that they simply can’t do beheadings with a knife, so now instead of cutting the heads of their captives off, they chop them off with machetes or axes.

Beheading of this captured young Zeta started with a mandatory pre execution interrogation after which the girl had her throat slashed with the machete. Her hands were in handcuffs, but were cuffed in front of her, not behind her back. That messed with the decapitation a little and so the sicario decided to twist her neck instead. The head didn’t snap all the way so machete chopping resumed and then the final twist was delivered.

Video of that young girl who was brutally beheaded and had her head twisted off by El Cartel Del Golfo sicarios was filmed in a response to the beheading of CDG Comandante Gallo. This video, on the other hand appears to be the response to the recently released beheading of four CDG affiliated women by Los Zetas. But as with the beheading of the girl, in this case, the response is once against carried out on a child. What’s wrong with you, CDG? Zetas are killing presumed commanders and you respond to it by killing teenagers?

If I understand it correctly, the victim is a 15 year old boy originally from Honduras. He appears to admit to his captors that he had worked for the Zetas. How much truth there is to it is anyone’s guess. We all know there are ways to make the captives confess to whatever their captors want them to confess to. The boy would have confessed to gassing 6 million Jews if that’s what the henchmen wanted of him.

The execution took place in Tampico, a port city in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. The sicarios once again used a machete to chop the head of the victim off, instead of using a knife to cut it off, which they had proven over the years to be vastly incapable of. Once almost severed, the chief beheader kicked the head to finalize the decapitation but the spine resisted so a helper lifted the torso up to get it over with quickly.

El Cartel del Golfo (CDG), former best friend of the Los Zetas cartel but now their prime enemy recently responded to the execution of Comandante Gallo by beheading a 17 year old girl who was so scared she soiled her pants, and to the beheading and dismemberment of four CDG affiliated women by beheading a 15 year old Honduran boy.

For a few weeks, things got somewhat quieter in Mexico, but with the execution of those four women, Zetas seem to have opened a can of worms and all hell seems to have broken loose. How the Gulf Cartel picks their victims to behead and dismember is anyone’s guess. There have been cases of ordinary people being kidnapped for show executions, and confessing to working for the rival cartel in order to avoid endless torture before beheading so who knows. It certainly seems as though many of these people are easy targets because they’re poor so they can’t afford their own army of bodyguards to protect them.

In this newly released video, members of the Gulf Cartel interrogate, behead and dismember four people who appear to “confess” that they’d worked for the Zeta cartel. One of the condemned is a woman who is held topless, dressed in only her underwear. Mexican drug cartels definitely seem to have dwindled away from using knife for beheadings, after years of embarrassing themselves with their inability to use them effectively so now they stick mostly with axes or machetes. Central de Abasto is some kind of wholesale market for produce, fish and other bulk foods in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. I imagine it’s a similar deal to what we know as the Farmer’s Market.

Early in the morning, as merchants were setting up their stalls to prepare for the day, Central de Abasto was stormed by a group of armed men who opened fire at defenceless vendors, killing two women and one man, wounding two others. Then they fled in an getaway car as quickly as they came.

The victims were identified as 23 year old Noelia Solís Abarca, 22 year old Gisela Solís Abarca and Ignacio Castillo Flores who was working as fees collector that day. The two wounded were 55 year old Ernesto Castillo Flores and 45 year old Juan Solís Téllez.

Gunmen left a narcomensaje which contained the following text:

Five men were found executed under a bridge between the colonies of Ayutla Bella Vista and Progreso in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico. The killers left two narcomensajes however these were seized by authorities and their content not revealed. Authorities also cordoned off the crime scene preventing photographers from taking photos, but somebody managed to snap one anyway.

The victims were shot in the head multiple times and showed signs of previous beatings. One of the victims was still alive when authorities arrived but died later in a hospital due to severity of his wounds. Police recovered dozens of .45 caliber and 9mm shell casings from the scene. Last weekend, four people fell victim to the drug cartel violence in Estado de México, of whom three were killed by La Familia Michoacana. There was no narcomensaje with the fourth so it is not certain who was behind his execution.

The three victims were gunned down in the intersection of Corrido del Norte and Marieta in the colony of Benito Juárez, Nezahualcóyotl. Narcomensaje left with their corpses bore the following text:

According to Jewgle translate, the meaning of the text is:

City officials learned from eye witnesses that an unidentified vehicle approached the intersection, three men were pulled out and quickly executed before the gunmen got back in and fled.

The victims were identified as 45 year old Leobardo Ortiz and brothers Juan and Antonio García Vera, 33 and 28 years old respectively.

The following day, another man was executed with Goat Horns while walking along the streets in the La Perla Reforma colony in Nezahualcoyotl. The unidentified victim was a male approximately 35 years old.

In the pre-dawn hours by the inside of a roundabout at the entrance to the town of Tarímbaro, Michoacán, Mexico, a grisly scene awaited locals as they rode their donkey carts into town. A pose of lawless men had exacted narco justice on three unknown victims.

As the rising sun cast its light on a new day, its stinging rays were not felt by these three, who will forever now dwell in the darkness of their eternal death. Their last breaths having gurgled through their necks instead of as whispers over their lips…their blood coursed over the ground instead of through their veins…their lives ended in violence.

Wherever that ground may be, we do not know, for these three men may be propped against that curb, their heads lined up beside them, but they did not die here. The asphalt is free of the stains of their blood. They were left here as a message, a warning of the fate that befalls those who dare to rival.

The world moves on without them, their loss barely noticed and barely felt, because they were dogs. Peddlers of drugs and death – and for them now the cycle is complete.

While police tape was being strung up on the roundabout at the entrance to the town of Tarímbaro (post made yesterday), a few kilometres away in the town of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico another grisly find was being made. Yes, it was a busy night in Michoacán state.

This time there were no banners left, just bodies and heads.

Interestingly enough there is something a little quirky about this beheading. One of the victims, identified as 35 year old José Alberto Piñón Cornejo of colonia Tierra y Libertad, was one legged. I can’t provide any information about why he had no left leg, but I guess it made it easier for the killers to restrain him. Apparently José was an unemployed sweets seller, and as his current condition would indicate, probable cartel henchman.

I find it hard to think it is coincidental that three bodies are dumped off in Tarímbaro and then another two are left in a similar fashion in Morelia no more than an hour later. It makes we wonder if the video we are all waiting for will have five decapitations instead of three.

A blindfolded man wearing a stripped white shirt and blue jeans is seen in the video kneeling before three masked gunmen pointing their weapons at him. While the sun is still up, a typical narco style interrogation takes place. Then there is a cut in the video and the scene resumes with daylight pretty much gone. What happened in the meantime is anyone’s guess.

The three masked men then step away, allowing another cartel member to approach the victim with a big stick and club him with full force to the back of the neck. The victim goes to the ground and clubbing continues, almost giving an impression that the intent was to decapitate the man by beating him in the neck until his head snapped off from sheer blunt force. That doesn’t happen, as after a few deadly blows, one of the background gunmen pulls out a knife and proceeds to behead the victim.

The clubbing, in my opinion was an act of mercy. It was likely done in order to add the crudeness factors to the video, but in the end it made the passing less agonizing for the victim. Those vicious blows to the vertebrae surely disconnected his brain from the rest of the body quite quickly, rendering the victim unconscious for the beheading, which itself would have been very agonizing had clubbing not taken place beforehand.

Yep, Mexico is back! I just need help from our Spanish speaking friends to fill us in on which drug cartel is doing the killing and why the man was beheaded.

New Mexican drug cartel beheading video shows members affiliated with the Gulf Cartel (Cartel Del Golfo) executing a young man whom they accused of being cahoots with Los Zetas. The video starts with typical narco interrogation whereby the victim kneels on the ground, surrounded by masked gunmen pointing their big rifles Eric Holder so graciously supplied at him.

Half way through the video, the young man has a noose tied around his neck and his hands bound behind his back. As he’s being held from behind, one of the sicarios starts torturing him by cutting into his chest with a mega machete. The boy is slashed a few times and then as blood covers his chest, he’s shot and his body hangs limp on the rope around his neck.

Typically slow beheading is then carried out during which the victim’s body twitches as his hands do pointers.

Video from 2012 shows rarely seen Mexican drug cartel execution by hanging. Two men with hands tied behind their backs had their mouth shut with duct tape, noose tightened around their necks and were one after another suspended from a ceiling beam. By the looks of it, the captives were affiliated with El Cartel Del Golfo, whereas the killers were with Los Zetas.

The interrogation is focused on establishing the operatives’ names and affiliations with the Gulf Cartel. The interrogator asked who was responsible for placing the messages threatening society in the Zetas’ name. The captives responded that the operatives were associated with the Gulf Cartel, gave their aliases, and revealed the Gulf Cartel commander who ordered the deeds.

The conversation with the prisoners ended abruptly, and the interrogator then threatened the Gulf operatives who may be watching and insulted them with offensive names (asses, queers, and dogs). He warned that this would happen to all queers who work for the Gulf Cartel, and stated that Ciudad Victoria (presumably the site of the disputed atrocities, as well as the place where the video was being produced) is Zetas territory. The captives are then hanged.

El Blog Del Narco released a new video of Mexican drug cartel execution. In the video, a woman on her knees is interrogated while a duo of masked gunmen point their rifles at her head. The woman appears to calmly answer every question but as the interrogation concludes, she makes desperate last minute plea for her life. It doesn’t work and the woman is executed with a close range headshot.

Muzzle flash makes the video, but it’s so massive, I for a second doubted the authenticity of the video. Do rifles really shoot fireballs of such epic size? Or was the flash added in digitally? Discounting the flash, I found the way the woman dropped lifeless after being shot and her desperate pleas for life genuine.

According to El Blog Del Narco, the execution took place in Durango. During the interrogation, the woman allegedly admits to issuing fake licenses to the Cabreras (not sure who the Cabreras are) and responds that the Cabreras have killed and dismembered innocent people they thought worked for a rival drug cartel, and that the Governor of Durango supported the group. If you can understand what they talk about during the interrogation, help us out with a translation.

In all honestly – I don’t take any of those confessions people captured by rival cartels admit to minutes before being executed while rifles are pointed at their heads at face value. Perhaps the woman confessed to what she knew for a fact, but maybe she simply said whatever her captors wanted her to say to avoid being tortured. Anyone would say what needed to be said, rather than what is actually true under such duress.
